The Conference

A platform for the people who steward our soil, water and landscapes.

IRFC 2026 brings together researchers from around the world to showcase innovative work on rangeland and grassland management, forage seed and crop improvement, sustainable livestock and dairy value chains, agroforestry and climate-resilient natural resource management. It provides a platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange and collaborative action to combat land degradation, build climate resilience, enhance ecosystem services and strengthen food and fodder security.

Beyond raising awareness, the conference aims to foster knowledge exchange, drive policy discussions and catalyse actionable commitments toward sustainable resource management, a global commitment to Sustaining Livelihoods and Ecosystem through joint initiatives and implementation strategies.

A ceremonial opening setting the tone for three days of discourse and discovery.

Plenary Lectures

Eminent scientists, academicians and administrators presenting overviews of the conference symposia, from rangeland and forage science to livestock systems and climate-resilient natural resource management.

The Range Management Society of India (RMSI) promotes sustainable rangeland and pasture management, forage and fodder research, grassland conservation and pastoral livelihoods to ensure long-term environmental security, climate resilience and livelihood sustainability.
